Ragne Pajo, Psy.D, C.Psych
Hello, my name is Ragne Pajo. I'm a clinical psychologist, and I offer to help with different types of anxiety (including fears, phobias, panic), depression, low self-esteem, and stress management. I also help with relationship problems, family issues, health-related struggles, OCD, eating disorders, and managing ADHD. In addition, I have extensive experience with trauma-related concerns, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and can help you come to feel safe again.
As a special area of expertise, I have an in-depth understanding of the impact that personality disorders and other significant mental health issues in family members, partners, and the workplace can have on you, and can help you manage such complex relationships.
I take an integrative approach to evidence-based practices and use Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Theory, and Mindfulness and Acceptance strategies in my work. I believe that everyone is different and take an open-minded, problem-solving, and collaborative approach to therapy work and tailor it to your individual goals and needs.
I completed my doctoral training at University of Hartford in Connecticut, USA, in 2008, followed by eight years of providing outpatient therapy specializing in trauma and crisis as well as treating mood and behaviour related concerns. Since 2016, I have been registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and working in a private practice in Toronto, treating primarily adults (18 years of age and older).
At Bloor West Therapy, we offer a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment and work to offer efficient, high quality clinical services. I take special care to foster self-compassion through understanding and work to empower you to make lasting positive changes through education and support. I welcome you to get in touch with us and see how I can help you.
In addition to English, I am also able to provide services in Estonian.
